Every bowl, every mug, every vase begins the same way — with two hands, a lump of clay, and a deep love for the craft.
Mrs. Marie grew up in Philadelphia, and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design. She earned a BFA in Fashion Illustration and Advertising. Marie spent ten years as a Digital Product Designer for Lenox Brands before getting married and moving to Southern New Jersey, where she established her studio. One of her more notable artworks was a life-size fiberglass cow for the Harrisburg CowParade, entitled "Constance the Constitution Cow" -- a public art piece where she penned the phrase "A Cow for the People" and hand-scripted the words of the US Constitution onto its back.
Marie is currently working as a historical interpreter in an 1800's pottery studio recreation at the Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May, NJ.
